…..well let’s see what have we been up to?
Well last Saturday we had a table at a wedding exhibition at The Crown in Northill, a lovely, picturesque old village near us. It was a great day, the sun was shining and the exhibition was well attended, I think it will prove to have been a sucessful day for all concerned.
This Sunday we will be at another local wedding fayre this time at the Marston Vale Forest centre and Country Park in Marston Moreteyne. It starts at 11.00 am and finishes at 4.00pm, so if you’re near by drop in and say hello.
Cake wise it’s a week of models this week, here are a couple for you to have a peek at……..
First one is for a gentleman who apparently loves his snooker, his daughter said they’ld like something simple but that reflected his hobby…..
Second one is for an 18th birthday, someone was at a birthday party where we had made the cake and liked it so much that they decided to have us make their daughters 18th cake. The brief was for a female badminton player dressed in white shorts and pink top to be standing on top, with some shuttlecocks on the sides, oh and a bottle of vodka somewhere!

First Post!
Hello there, thought we would dip our toe into the wonderful world of blogging!
We’ll be putting up regular posts about the cakes we are working on and any exhibitions etc we might be exhibiting at.
Really ought to be a picture in our first post and as it’s the birth of our new adventure into blogging what better cake than a christening one……
……it’s a 10″ square cake we made last week, iced with sugarpaste and decorated with a handmade sugar model of an upturned toy box complete with toys.
